During my last class, I had several students who came in with knee problems. One person stated clearly that if they get down, there is no getting back up. At least not quickly. We were able to get through the whole 60 minutes of the class that focused on strengthening the muscles that support and stabilize the knees. We did a lot of warrior poses that specifically targeted the quadriceps. We did tree pose, and emphasized knee safety. We do have another class coming up that will build on what we have done to strengthen the knees.
