Holistic. Rejuvenating. Healing.
Today was the first day having sunrise meditation at 7:00 AM. One of my close friends has been encouraging me to host virtual yoga classes, but I have been dragging me feet. Today we had our first session. I was able to work out some of the kinks, and look forward to learning more as I go. I will be working on refining my morning sessions such that there is 10 minutes of meditation followed by 20 minutes of yoga to warm up, and get everyone ready to take on the day.

The meditation is definitely essential to our mental health. Meditation helps us to control our mind and thoughts and turn off our mind when we do not need it anymore. It is one of those things that is believed to help relieve stress, lessen depression, lower blood pressure and improve sleep while boosting memory, mood and even social intelligence

Making Morning Meditation & Yoga a reality

Nothing happens unless we make it happen! We are now five weeks into self isolation, and on more than 3 occasions I have been asked about hosting virtual yoga sessions. I even spoke about doing it. It is now the time to make it happen.

Being an experienced yoga instructor, this should be a no brainer. In some ways, my hesitation is coming from the potential for the session to not being perfect. This is a struggle of mine that I am actively working on.

Be sure to stay tuned for announcements about the upcoming sunrise meditation and yoga sessions! The current schedule is as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7:00 AM PST

Namaste
