Holistic. Rejuvenating. Healing.
Can you all believe I had to leave my home again today?! Granted I only stepped outside of my gate. The point is I had to leave my little area that I call my yard. Do you remember when I told you all that I would work on my breathing moving forward? (read here) I have been working on it throughout the day. There were times when I didn’t want to keep going with my project, but I didn’t give up. So what does breathing and my project have to do with me leaving my yard?

Yesterday the San Diego Police department was called to my home by my neighbor. 😳 I honestly was surprised that someone would lie the way she does, and waste the resources of the police department. Her complaint essentialy was that I was threatening her safety by working on my fence. The officer who responded to her call knew me, and we had actually spoken about her before. He did his job by coming out to see what the issue was, and determined there was no issue. I did practice my breathing exercises because the whole situation is annoying. The breathing exercises did help because I can smile through it. My next step is to truly manage where my energy is spent. I have a bit more of work to do on my fence today, but it is looking pretty good right now.

What is the plan for today?

When I first started this blog, I had grand plans of working on all of these projects, and sharing them with my audience. I did work on the unpaper paper towels earlier on, and I have all of the items needed to make soap. As I reflect back on my original purpose of this series in the blog, it was to share my experiences, to give motivation, and to share information that may be helpful to my readers. However, these last few days feel like I have been far off the mark. Even on a personal care stand point I haven’t done a facial or yoni steam for myself in over a week.

Today I will be revisiting my goals for this self isolation period. I want to go deeper into who I am, and who I want to be. There are things that I want to focus on changing, and this time provides the ideal situation to make those changes happen. Life can be so wonderful when you look at the positive in your situations. There are so many wonderful people in this world, and I want to be one of those people. From time to time your resolve to be a better person is tested. Today I feel like I need to take inventory, and get back on my center.

Thank you for your support

Thank you for your continued support. I have had a few people make purchases from the shop, and I love the dedication they have shown to my success. Others of you have shared my posts, have left comments, and have reached out to me. I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel loved. I want to be there for you all too. If there are specific topics that you would like to have me capture, or questions you would like answered, feel free to leave a comment.

Namaste
