It's origin
As many of you may know, Onyeka Tefari hails from The Bahamas by way of West Africa. All of the services that are provided at Onyeka Tefari are infused with the care and hospitality found throughout the islands of The Bahamas and the smiling coast. As more services became available to Onyeka Tefari's clients, she wanted a way to combine some of these services into an experience.
Sunu Bagasi
Sunu Bagasi or Our Bagasi is from the wolof language that is spoken in various countries in West Africa. In wanting to provide a complete experience of the Afro-Caribbean fusion, Onyeka Tefari sought out a way to incorporate parts of the culture from the point of scheduling all the way through to receipt of the service.
Our Bagasi Experiences
Bagasi Noflai:
Noflai refers to the ultimate rest or the ultimate relaxation. For this curated experience, Onyeka Tefari ensures that you will be pampered from head to toe with our massage service. Bagasi Noflai includes a 90-minute aromatherapy massage complete with an invigorating foot scrub. The gift of aromatherapy is packaged for you to go with a starter essential oil kit.
Bagasi Tarr:
Tarr refers to transcendent beauty. This experience includes our signature brightening facial, and LED light therapy that helps to activate collagen production as well as treating problematic skin issues that may be lurking. This relaxing experience would be incomplete if Onyeka Tefari's signature neck and shoulder massage weren't included.
Bagasi Jongoma:
Jongoma refers to elegant beauty. When mentioned, the idea of someone knowing their self care is important, and they ensure that they make it a priority. This experience combines both the Bagasi Noflai and Bagasi Tarr. Bagasi Jongoma is a 2.5 hour treatment that combines our signature massage and brightening facial package.
Bagasi Feim:
Feim refers to divine femininity. This experience seeks to activate the sacred and divine femininity within. We begin with a detoxifying facial, and follow up with a yoni steam using one of Onyeka Tefari's proprietary blends.
Bagasi Jongeh:
Jongeh refers to bringing out your inner confidence. This experience starts with a 75-minute massage that includes hot stones and Aboniki (our warming muscle balm) followed by an enriching yoni steam using your choice of one of our proprietary yoni steam blends.
Bagasi Raffetie:
Raffetie refers to bringing out the beauty that already exists. Onyeka Tefari seeks to take your hair removal service to another level by making it an experience. This experience includes the full Brazilian and Underarms hair removal service, and is topped off with an Intensive after-care hydro jelly mask.
