Join us on March 19th for our monthly Sunset/fullmoon hike at Black Mountain. We will be on the Nighthawk Trail. From the top of this trail, we are able to see the ocean, and should be able to catch the sun as it is setting just beyond the horizon. We should also be able to see the moon rise while on this hike.

Black Mountain via Nighthawk Trail and Miner’s Ridge Trail Loop is a 6.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near San Diego, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
