In honor of BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month, join us for a critical conversation about the distinct mental health struggles experienced by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. From systemic inequities to cultural stigma, this session will explore the layered challenges that impact emotional well-being—and pathways to healing.
Led by Jerisha Lacrae, licensed therapist and founder of Therapy for Black Women, this discussion will cover:
- The impact of racism, intergenerational trauma, and identity-based stress on mental health
- Barriers to care, from cultural stigma to lack of representation in therapy
- Strategies for resilience, self-advocacy, and accessing culturally competent support
