By the time you leave, you will know exactly what is happening with your skin, what we are going to do about it, and what you need to be doing at home between visits.
What to expect at your first visit
Skin history & intake
We begin with a conversation — your breakout history, your triggers, what you have tried before, your lifestyle, your diet, your stress levels, your current products. Acne is rarely just a skin issue and understanding the full picture is how we build a protocol that actually works for your skin specifically.
Thorough skin analysis
Your skin is assessed under magnification — the type of breakouts present, the depth, the distribution, the level of inflammation, any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and your overall skin health. This informs every decision we make for your protocol going forward.
Your first active treatment
This is a real treatment, not just a cleanse and a chat. Your first session is active from start to finish — a thorough cleanse to clear away surface impurities, professional exfoliation to begin breaking down congestion, manual extractions to clear visible blackheads and clogged pores, a targeted step to address acne-causing bacteria and calm active inflammation, and a purifying finish to leave your skin calm and clear. Your skin is actively being worked on from visit one.
Your home care kit
At the end of your appointment you receive your six-week home care kit — a curated set assembled specifically for your skin type and stage of clearing. Your kit is built to cover every part of your routine: a gentle cleanse that won't strip your skin, a treatment step that keeps working on breakouts between visits, lightweight hydration that won't contribute to congestion, daily sun protection, and a corrector for the post-inflammatory marks breakouts leave behind. A written morning and evening routine is included so there is no guesswork about what to use or when.

This appointment is the required first step for all new Acne Clinic clients. At the end of your visit your esthetician will review your personalized clearing plan with you and walk you through your enrollment options for the clinic series. Your home care kit will be available for purchase at your first appointment.
