DESCRIPTION:This trail is a lot of fun\, with a lot of open fields\, and views of neighboring mountains\, and the nearby lake. There isn’t a lot of coverage on this hike\, so be sure to dress in layers\, and bring enough water to stay hydrated. \nParking: The address is just up the way from the trailhead. Look out for a Black Nissan Rogue\, as we will be parked earlier to meet up with people. RSVP to let us know that you plan on attending. \nFrom All Trails \nExplore this 3.7-mile out-and-back trail near Jamul\, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route\, it takes an average of 2 h 20 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking\, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Dogs are welcome\, but must be on a leash.
