DESCRIPTION:This month we are working on getting from couch to completing the 5 peaks of Mission Trails. Kwaay Paay is one of the five peaks in the challenge. This is a 2.3-mile out-and-back trail near Santee\, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route\, it takes an average of 1 h 33 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking\, and it is open all year round. \nWith us starting this hike at 4:30\, be sure to bring a light (headlamp)\, and dress appropriately for the weather. \nNote: If you plan on joining\, be sure to message us to let us know. This way we will look out for you. \n

DESCRIPTION:Cowles Mountain is a hike that is always open\, and welcoming of most fitness levels. This is a nice quick hike for those who want to get a hike in before heading in to the office.  If you are just starting out hiking\, this hike will get you in shape quickly. For those who have been hiking for some time\, this hike will still present some challenges\, and you can always run up to the top if you want an even bigger challenge. \nWe will be on this trail many mornings during the month of October.
